SHOWOFF DESIGN: Bringing Events to Life Across Europe!
It’s been a whirlwind of hard work and dedication, all leading up to a greater purpose. And let me tell you, the projects I’ve taken on are nothing short of extraordinary. Picture this: touring Europe, diving headfirst into audio and visual gigs, traveling alongside bands, and building up and tearing down stages with a whole crew. It’s a wild ride, but it’s what I live for.
From the moment we hit the road in our trusty bus, we’re on the clock 24/7, committed to ensuring every show goes off without a hitch. We leap into action upon arrival at each venue, hustling to get the stage up and running until the very last minute before showtime. And once the final note fades away, it’s back to tearing down the stage in record time, ready to do it all over again at the next stop.
But it’s not all work and no play. There are moments of respite where we catch up on much-needed sleep or explore the sights and sounds of vibrant cities. These tours are a testament to my love for the event production industry, where every day brings new challenges and adventures.
And festivals? They’re like a second home to me. Collaborating on stage setups, whether it’s decor or AV, and soaking in the camaraderie of working alongside fellow creatives, all while bunking down on-site for days on end – it’s an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world.
With over a decade of experience under my belt in various fields, SHOWOFF DESIGN has evolved to encompass a wide array of talents. From graffiti artists to steelworkers, graphic designers to photographers, and now, since 2021, audio and visual specialists,

It is the very first time that my work has been nominated for an award, and I am truly overwhelmed by this recognition. It is a testament to the dedication and passion I have poured into my creations, and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity.

Reflection on the Achievement at Milan Design Week 2022!

My journey to Milan Design Week began with a crowdfunding campaign on “voor de kunst”. It was a pivotal moment in my career as I embarked on one of the most significant challenges to date. This summer, from June 6th to 12th, 2022, I had the honor to showcase my graduation project at MILAN DESIGN WEEK! – one of the world’s largest and most influential design exhibitions.
As the crowdfunding campaign gained momentum, so did the excitement. The news of my endeavor spread, resulting in two full-page articles in local newspapers such as the Noord Hollands Dagblad and the Medemblikker. The outpouring of support was overwhelming.
Finally, the moment arrived. Milan Design Week commenced, and I found myself amidst the vibrant energy of the Isola Design District. Displaying my work at “Rising Talents” in Studio Farini, Via Carlo Farini 35, marked a significant milestone in my career. It was a surreal experience to see my creations come to life in the heart of Milan’s design scene.
Looking back on my time in Milan, I am filled with gratitude and pride. The challenges and victories that my team and I experienced from start to finish have left an indelible impression. The connections I made and the overwhelming support I received have shaped my journey as a designer. Milan Design Week was more than just an exhibition; it was a testament to perseverance, collaboration, and the power of dreams.
I want to thank everyone who supported me on this journey, from the early days of the crowdfunding to the exciting moments in Milan.

What an adventure it was! Dutch Design Week 2021 will forever be etched in the books. It was a true rollercoaster of creativity and connections that I will never forget!
It was a dream come true to present my graduation project “Mathematic Geometry” at such an iconic event like Dutch Design Week. The excitement of seeing my creation in the vibrant city of Eindhoven at Design Perron on Fuutlaan 12 was indescribable. It felt like a reward for all the hard work, long nights, and unwavering dedication to my passion for design.
But what truly made it unforgettable were the people I met and the conversations we shared. The exchange of ideas, the feedback from fellow designers, and the warm welcome from visitors warmed my heart and ignited my spirit. I am so grateful for all the wonderful conversations, inspiring encounters, and new friendships that blossomed.
Special thanks to Design Perron and all the fantastic people involved. Now that Dutch Design Week is behind us, I look forward with excitement to the next phase of my journey as a designer.

After graduating with honors from the Hogeschool voor Kunsten, it was time to showcase my thesis project, “Mathematic Geometry,” to the world.
The launch of my very first solo exhibition at De Gouden Druif in Amsterdam Jordaan marked a significant milestone. Sharing my work with friends, family, and enthusiastic visitors was an incredible experience, filled with pride and joy as I felt the positive reactions and support.
The success of the exhibition was overwhelming. Memories of the vibrant opening with Sjoerd van Eerdenburg will always remain with me. It was an evening brimming with energy, creativity, and connection, where the music filled the streets and the atmosphere was electric. We’re still savoring the memories of this fantastic show.
