Originally built during my second year at art school, the Kaleidoscope XXL has since travelled to festivals such as Wildeburg, Into The Woods, and Amsterdam Dance Event, where it became a favorite interactive attraction.

Standing at 220 cm tall and stretching 180 cm in length, the Kaleidoscope XXL is a true statement installation. Entirely hand-powered and fully interactive, it invites users to spin colorful geometric discs and become part of the artwork itself.
With every movement, new worlds emerge – endless combinations of reflections, patterns, and colors that never repeat.

The Kaleidoscope XXL is more than something to look at, it’s something to explore. Light travels through reflective tubes, bouncing between mirrors and filters to create mesmerizing visual effects.
Moiré patterns, dichroic shifts, and translucent hues merge into constantly evolving compositions. What you see changes with every angle, every spin, and every viewer.
